Changing Weather and your Tire Pressure

Does your tire pressure light keep coming on? A change in the weather may be the culprit! As the temperature drops, so might your tire pressure. To remedy the situation, simply inflate your tires to the suggested PSI in your vehicle manual. Keep in mind, as you drive, your tires heat up which can increase the tire pressure, so it is best to check the tires when they are cold.

If you do find your light on, it’s a good idea to take care of it sooner, rather than later, as under-inflated tires can cause premature wear, loss of handling, and can eventually cause damage to other parts of the vehicle!
